Designed in the 1920s, the Winter Garden exists in two vaulted-ceiling glass houses at the 奥克兰域, a park built in the crater of the Pukekawa Volcano. 一个建筑, 房屋五颜六色, 热带植物, 一年四季都保持温暖吗, while the other displays temperate plants that change with the seasons.

Between the glass houses is a large courtyard centred by a picturesque sunken pool, providing a perfect for picnic lunches (it's also a popular photo spot, 所以记得带上你的相机!). Near the back of the complex lies a fern garden, where the 图标ic plants can be examined up close.

邻 冬园亭咖啡厅 overlooks the 花园 and is a great place for a relaxed spot of breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

The Winter Garden is free of charge for visitors.
